Such a busy life!!

I know.... I know... it has been FOREVER since I have blogged. Mainly since I have been back to work and life with 3 busy boys keeps me away from the computer. So... let's us see... Alex and Evan finished up swim lessons which we were able to keep them in for 2 months this time until a new sport began. Now, Evan is in soccer and Alex has started a very serious baseball league considering he is only 6yo. They have practices 3x/week! But we are excited to watch him be so excited about it and wanting to practice! Evan is excelling at soccer this season. He has moved on from the chasing girls and picking flowers in the middle of the field to a soccer superstar! We couldn't be more proud!! He is doing awesome at dribbling and shielding the ball and is able to stay focused now. It is amazing what changes take place in a year. Needless to say, we had to put gymnastics on hold- only 1 sport at a time (house rule!).

Matthew is continuing to grow by leaps and bounds! He can almost sit up and is such a delight! He LOVES to flirt with all the cashiers and grandmas while we are out and about. He has started eating baby food and says "mmmmm.." after every bite!

I have been playing on 3 different soccer teams and joined the gym to make sure I get that pre-baby body back and I am happy to say that I made it! Wahoo! Rob is playing soccer 1x/wk and also is working out at the gym (just to support me I think- he doesn't really need to go!) Other than that we are busy working, working and working to help feed these growing boys! My do they eat a lot!

Here are some various pictures from the last couple of months!

Matthew's almost 4 months old

Wow- how time flies. I can't believe he is already going on 4 months old. I just love this time with the babies. He is all smiles and so precious! How lucky are we???? This time for the camera he actually smiled- Yea! He is lifting his head up and is able to sit in the exersaucer and johnny jump up which will be wonderful to get him off the back of his head (it's a little flat!).

Seattle's snowy Christmas

Our Christmas Eve was spent with Rob's parents and thankfully they were even able to make it! They had originally stayed in a hotel in Bellevue and were not able to drive due to the snow. Eventually, they came and stayed the night at our house so we wouldn't miss Christmas with them. I bet they are happy to be back in Az. (although they even came back to snow :-) ).

Some post Christmas pictures

Unfortunately, we were not able to spend Christmas Day with my parents like we have in the past, but at least we were able to see them that Saturday. We also got to spend the day with my brother Rob and his wife Cari and their 3 girls. The kids had lots of fun running in circles shooting each other with the boy's new guns. It was quite hilarious to watch the girls try and figure out how to use a gun!

Let it snow... let it snow....

Seattle finally has gotten some serious snowfall! WAHOO!!!! I have got to stay home from work and play and Rob has gotten the chance to drive in it (it must be a guy thing!~) The boys have enjoyed sledding down a nearby hill, making forts and racetracks for their cars and being towed by mom on the sled. Tomorrow I must go back to work :-(, but at least it was fun while I was off.
