Wow! I think we have survived this crazy weekend. It started on Friday night with the boys having the kick off for the Awana Grand Prix races. Evan got to race his "racing" car this night. Evan, unfortunately did not win, but had a great time and earned a ribbon. We got home on Friday at 9pm. On Saturday morning it was off to the races again! This time Alex got to race him Hummer. His car was probably in the top 8, but still not quite good enough for a trophy. He also came home with a blue ribbon and some candy. This day started at 9:30am and we were finished by 11:30am. Then we came home and had a nice nap and headed off to our friends Jen and Dan for dinner. We were very excited to be their first dinner guests. Today, we left for Molbaks to get our annual Christmas pictures, then to lunch (our bribe for the boys) and to REI so Rob could get his birthday gift. Since Dad is getting his birthday gift ONE day early, now the boys keep asking if they can get their birthday gift ONE day early. :-)
And finally, mom has her soccer game tonight- I can't wait!
