Baby Matthew FINALLY arrived!!

Finally the day came that the hospital had room to allow me to be induced and for baby Matthew to join us. Through induction he was born on Monday, September 29th (yes, 1 day before his mom's birthday) at 1:14pm at Valley General Hospital. I will have to say it very smoothly and we had the nicest nurses ever! It was almost like a little vacation with room service and all. Matthew weighed 7 lbs. 13 oz. and was 18 1/2 in. long. He has already had his first Dr.'s appt.- he is slightly down on weight (not bad though) 7lbs. 10 oz. and is a healthy, very content little boy. He did fail one side of his hearing test at the hospital (which we have to retake this Tues) but the girl was not too concerned just figuring it was most likely fluid in his ear. He also has his circumcision appt. this Wed. (poor little guy!). It will be a rough week for him! Right now we are thinking that he looks a lot like Evan with some minor traits of Alex. Here are a few pictures from the week.

On another note- Alex tied one soccer game and just won another today and apparently scored (of course when mom wasn't there!) and had a great defensive move. So far, the team is doing great!

Congratulations Wyllies! What a bunch of handsome looking boys you have there Melissa :) Did Dr. Lawrence induce you? I had my appt. with him on Thursday. He's such a great Dr.

As for the soccer game, our 6 year old James was on the other team playing your son yesterday! We saw your husband running around coaching the crew. I had wanted to swing over & say hi, but it was so rainy I ended up taking the girls to the car while Jimmy stayed for the rest of the game. Small world! Enjoying the soccer season?
